Respose to the Reading of Ths History of Book Publishing: Censorship to Consolidation

To my opinion those people back then were stupid and careless to think that they could silrnce the very world of certain books that felt like nothing at all. Like to not publish books like Alice in Wonderland and Tarzan both my favorite books. But, as a supreme court justice once said that if we use censorship all we are doing is having lack of confidence in it itself. Which means "we the people" may take away our own basic idenity as individuals in this dying world we call, "Progess". But now there are more things are stake than our own basic understandings. There are religious groups who are banding together to put a stop to other books that betrey their own ideals. This just became a two-way street, watch your back.

Respose to the Reading What johnny Should't Read (4-7)

Basically, the people of the early 1900's kept a lot of info from the local schools in order to protect the children/young adults from personal affairs until they came of age. By using relevance of certain things that the children are not ready for they move on with the happy lives so they do not know about it. But, this didn't come to past until the 1960's-1980's so lots of those children of those times who are grown up didn't know what to do at a young age how to survive or keep their head's high in the change world. Esspeically, since it wasn't in the textbooks just yet. So, to withdrew information that most adults should learn at a young age will be important for their lives soon to come is like imprisoning your own sense of joy and curiosity to express yourself.
